Bob: Where are we today, Ted?

Ted: We’re on the bus, route twelve, Bob. The bus is moving and seats are disappearing.

Bob: Hannah is standing in the aisle with a backpack on both shoulders.

Ted: That backpack is big on her Bob.

Bob: An open seat is halfway down the bus.

Ted: That seat will not stay open long.

Bob: The middle seats are full Ted.

Ted: That makes this seat matter.

Bob: The back seats are loud. That is always the case worldwide Ted.

Ted: No one is leaving those.

Bob: The bus jerks forward.

Ted: That changes her strategy looks like.

Bob: Hannah takes a step down the aisle.

Ted: She’s is already late for this unplanned move.

Bob: The bus bumps again.

Ted: That helps the seat but it doesn’t know. It’s a seat.

Bob: Another kid turns and sees the open seat.

Ted: It’s a race now.

Bob: Hannah moves toward the seat.

Ted: She is not fully set Bob

Bob: The backpack swings as she turns.

Ted: The backpack is blocking her move.

Bob: She starts to sit Ted.

Ted: She is not fully ready for this Bob.

Bob: The bus jerks again.

Ted: That drops her.

Bob: Hannah falls backward toward the seat backpack sliding off one shoulder.

Ted: That does not count.

Bob: Her back hits the seat—thump.

Ted: …No. What was that move?

Bob: She folds the rest of the way into the seat.

Ted: The back first counts.

Bob: What ARE you talking about? The backpack slides into her lap some how.

Ted: That closes it. She looks in good shape now Bob.

Bob: The other kid reaches the aisle by the seat.

Ted: She’s too late.

Bob: She is stopping anyway.

Ted: There is no second try here Bob. She is just figuring that out. That is sad on the bus.

Bob: Hannah leans back against the seat.

Ted: She got it early.

Bob: She wasn’t fully ready Ted.

Ted: That is how it works on the bus. Always the same for centuries

Bob: The bus keeps moving.

Ted: The seat is hers. Hannah was lucky.

Bob: That was the first thing she hit. That’s life Ted.

Ted: I guess that’s the story Bob.
