(Fairfax County Farm Park — Animal Barn Loop)
Bob: Where are we today, Ted?
Ted: Fairfax County Farm Park Bob. By the pig pen. Don’t move.
Bob: Lucas is standing at the fence with a paper cup of feed.
Ted: Watch this. This is happening.
Bob: The piglets are pressed against the rails.
Ted: Too many. I don’t know much about pigs Bob but that does not look like a good plan.
Bob: Lucas tips the cup.
Ted: Now. This is the moment
Bob: The pellets hit the dirt.
Ted: He dumped it on the dirt!
Bob: The piglets rush in.
Ted: That is way too fast pigs!
Bob: They slam together and run past the food.
Ted: They left it! That was not a good attempt Bob
Bob: The food is right there.
Ted: They cannot optimize their plan Bob.
Bob: One piglet runs through the pile.
Ted: He looks like he understands. You passed the food again pig!
Bob: Lucas pulls the cup back.
Ted: Try again pigs
Bob: Lucas lowers the cup over one spot and dumps some more.
Ted: Don’t move pigs.
Bob: The pellets fall straight down.
Ted: DON’T MOVE PIGS!
Bob: The piglets rush—I don’t understand this situation Ted.
Ted: No. Pigs! No. It’s right in front of you.
Bob: They push through the spot and keep going.
Ted: They left it again. I need to read a pig documentary.
Bob: It’s still there. Amazing.
Ted: It is totally confusing to me and the pigs.
Bob: One small piglet stops under the drop.
Ted: Stop. That’s it pig.
Bob: It freezes in place.
Ted: Don’t move pig. More’s coming.
Bob: The pellets land in front of it.
Ted: Good. That’s perfect
Bob: More pellets fall there.
Ted: Stay still pig. Eat. It’s right there. Ignore the other pigs!
Bob: The other piglets turn back—
Ted: They’re going to be too late!
Bob: They’re right there again.
Ted: Oh no…They missed again.
Bob: It’s still there Ted.
Ted: OH MY! This is crazy Bob.
Bob: Lucas laughs once and tips the rest.
Ted: HOLD pigs. Hold position.
Bob: The feed pours straight down.
Ted: HOLD pigs. You got it this time.
Bob: The small piglet does not move.
Ted: He’s got it.
Bob: The other piglets shove in again.
Ted: YOUR TOO LATE PIGS. You had no plan.
Bob: They’re touching it finally.
Ted: Pigs/ That was a weird situation.
Bob: The cup is empty.
Ted: I have to re-think my thoughts on pigs .
Bob: That was certainly not what I expected Ted
Ted: The little one wins. The little one almost never wins in anything.
Bob: The small piglet is still standing there.
Ted: He looks very happy and fatter Bob.
Bob: There’s nothing left
Ted: guess we’re done here.
Bob: The little one stays. I’m confused.
Ted: That’s all pigs.
Bob: Well that was unexpected but that is the story from here.
Ted: Pigs. Who knew?
Both: Bob and Ted—Play-by-Play of Your Life.
